NuGen executive directors, Robert Zadora and Manuel Marco, will both be attending the key EBOC conference in West Cumbria.
The event, organised by Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster, will see NuGen update delegates on the Moorside project on day one of the two-day conference.
EBOC, which stands for Energy Business Opportunities Conference, will take a broad view of global energy issues, and examine opportunities for West Cumbria in the context of energy development.
Apart from the session on new nuclear build, the event will examine procurement opportunities, innovation, the latest intelligence on trends in the energy markets, and will look at the renewable and fossil fuel sectors, along with nuclear.
The conference will also examine West Cumbria’s socio-economic future, with an emphasis on the region’s energy expertise, and the opportunity for diversification.
A NuGen spokesman said the company was pleased to be a part of such an important West Cumbrian event.“The EBOC ’13 event will bring together experts from across the energy sector to discuss future opportunities, at an important time for West Cumbria. We are delighted to be a part of such a strong line-up of expert speakers.”
