NuGen, the UK nuclear developer, proudly hosted visitors from the Embassy of Japan in London during a visit to West Cumbria earlier this week.
The visitors met with representatives from Copeland Borough Council before taking a tour of the Moorside Project site, to the North and West of the Sellafield site.
A NuGen Spokesman said: “We are delighted to have been able to show our guests the progress we’re making in the site investigations work and to outline our plans to build three AP1000® reactors with a combined capacity of 3.4GW, enough to power six million homes.”
