Kimberley Connor has joined NuGen as Stakeholder and Communications Assistant, based at the company’s Westlakes office.
As a local, Kimberley is familiar with the nuclear industry. Her father and husband both work at Sellafield, and she is committed to supporting NuGen’s aims to develop new nuclear in West Cumbria, and the transformational effect a project of this size can have on a local community.
Kimberley joined in late 2013, and replaces Rosie Mathisen in NuGen’s Westlakes office. Rosie, who has moved away from West Cumbria, will continue to work in a part-time advisory capacity with NuGen.
Sam Stephens joined NuGen in late 2013 as the company’s Security Manager.
Sam has spent 28 years in the security industry, and joins NuGen from EDF Energy where he worked on the project to construct a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point.
Sam is based in NuGen’s London office, but will be in West Cumbria on a regular basis, where he will be engaging closely with security agencies and other stakeholders in the area.
