CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
He joined NuGen in 2015 from Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) based in Abu Dhabi where, as Chief Operating Officer, he helped develop the company delivering new nuclear units at Barakah, which will supply up to 25 per cent of the Emirate’s electricity by 2020.
Tom began his career in Manchester at GEC Alstom as a design engineer before joining Marubeni Corporation, where over the years he undertook a number of leadership roles in energy and infrastructure projects in the USA, Caribbean, UAE and Europe – gaining a reputation for creating shareholder value and delivering successful projects.
TALENT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR
Adam joined the company in June 2016 to consolidate and launch talent management – including human resources (HR) and learning. Adam has over 20 years HR specialist and generalist experience gained in large organisations, including in the nuclear and energy sectors.
Previously, Adam worked at EDF Energy, where he was Head of Human Resources for the Hinkley Point C project. Adam is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Andy is a chartered accountant and joined NuGen in November 2016 as Chief Financial Officer. Andy has operated in finance director roles in small to FTSE 100 companies with extensive international experience on a country, pan-European and global basis. Andy has substantial building materials, construction and infrastructure experience gained from working for a wide range of companies including Blue Circle Industries plc, RMC plc and Heathrow Airport.
PROGRAMME DELIVERY DIRECTOR
Andy joined NuGen as a member of the NuGen Executive Management Team in January 2017. In April 2017 Andy was appointed to assist with the development of the Programme Management Office, the integration of the Engineering team and Project Management team to form the Programme Delivery Strategy for the Moorside Project.
Andy’s previous roles have included Managing Director of AMA (JV consisting of Atkins, Areva and Mace) heading up the SDP Sellafield Project to more recent in managing the Construction Support for NNB.
CORPORATE AFFAIRS DIRECTOR
Gary started his nuclear career with British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL) in 1994 and worked in fuel development, uranium asset management and latterly, in corporate strategy with an emphasis on the Sellafield site.
Gary joined NuGen from Westinghouse Electric Company, where he was formerly Director of International Business Development.
Sam is NuGen’s Commercial Director. He joined NuGen in 2015 having previously worked for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority as Lead Revenue and Projects Manager during 2007 – 2015.
Sam placed and managed major contracts with Springfield Fuels, Capenhurst Nuclear Services, and EDF Energy. He was also the lead on land disposal projects for new nuclear new build and has implemented major internal change management projects.
